Paul Barisano leads the strategic design and execution of aid initiatives that advance student access, support enrollment goals, and sustain the institution’s long‑term financial health. His portfolio spans policy design, systems implementation, and operational planning in close partnership with academic and administrative leadership. 

Guided by a student‑first and equity‑driven philosophy, Barisano shapes SGP’s approach to affordability through tuition modeling, aid distribution strategy, and alignment with evolving federal and university regulations. He is building SGP’s financial aid infrastructure from the ground up—establishing clear policies, efficient processes, and data‑informed practices that increase transparency, reduce unnecessary borrowing, and deliver a high‑quality student experience at scale. 

Previously, Barisano served as Associate Director of Financial Aid for Student Services and Recruitment at Stevens Institute of Technology, where he led operations and staff development and supported enrollment strategy through financial aid modeling and policy design. He brings extensive experience in Title IV administration, financial aid systems, and strategic enrollment management, and holds the NASFAA Financial Aid Administrator Certification. 

Barisano earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University.
