Marcus Braithwaite is the Events Manager for the School of Government & Policy at Johns Hopkins University, where he oversees strategic event planning and operational execution designed to elevate engagement, strengthen partnerships, and support the School’s broader mission and impact.

Marcus leads a centralized events model supporting multiple centers and initiatives across the School, developing scalable operational frameworks that drive collaboration, efficiency, and exceptional experiences. He works closely with institutional leaders and external partners to cultivate strategic relationships and support high-impact engagements that advance SGP priorities and strengthen institutional impact.

Prior to Johns Hopkins University, Marcus supported large-scale event production and operations with the Arizona Cardinals Football Club. During his tenure, he contributed to nationally televised NFL games, major concerts, partner activations, and marquee events, including the Fiesta Bowl, College Football Playoff programming, and Super Bowl LVII-related initiatives. His experience operating in high-profile, fast-paced environments shaped his leadership approach centered on customer service, collaboration, communication, and operational excellence.

Marcus earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Television & Radio from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York.
