Steven Petric is a public policy, global affairs, and higher education leader whose work spans strategic partnerships, cross-sector collaboration, and systemic impact across the public, nonprofit, and academic sectors.

He currently serves as the inaugural Associate Dean for Admissions and Student Affairs at the School of Government and Policy.

Previously, he spent nearly a decade at Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, most recently as Assistant Dean for Global Outreach, Admissions, and Alumni Engagement. His work has taken him across the United States and regions of Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, including four years in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He is committed to intellectual pluralism and open inquiry in higher education.

Steven holds degrees from Northwestern University, the University of Essex (UK), and Princeton University.
